Well sheesh! As a gigantic fan of Ranch PDX this may be just as good or better. The slices especially pepperoni were excellent. I do wish they had slices of the Maui wowie. However the part the part that is hurting my brain is that the house-made Ranch is better than Ranch PDX which is hard to beat. (Pretty sure it is the dill in it here) I also like the layout and feel of the restaurant a lot.

Great pizza and love their unique uncreated but yummy Caesar with a bang! Super crisp lettuce! Pizza is rectangular similar to Detroit style. Fluffy not heavy but def filling and crispy. There is a disco dance floor, pinball machines and pool tables. Refreshingly cool, hip and unique!

Portland Pizza Taste Test #2 pizza on a rainy weekday is always a great idea. the pizza doesn't come with sauce! its added after heating with parmesan cheese. i must say its synonymous to a cheese bread with sauce but i'm open minded! the chicken bacon ranch definitely hit the spot for me, house made ranch and plenty of it! i just wont get the onion on top next time for two large square slices at 17.25 i will say this was a specialty visit i may not be able to enjoy again and a 5/10 for me

This is absolutely my favorite pizza in the world. I didn't know Detroit style was a thing!! LIFE. CHANGED. Forever!! I've been here twice now and I've never had to wait in any kind of line, which has been alarming to me on both accounts. Their August flavor Peaches and Cream was phenomenal. I first had it as part of a Yelp promo and then came and bought my own whole pizza a couple weeks later. Not a lot of sauce, which I appreciate. I want a pizza that's mostly bread with some little bites of flavor on top. I missed the September specialty pizza, so sad.

After coming here for an event featuring a specialty pizza I wanted to return to try a couple others. This is a crowded area and the parking lot is small, but there is lots of street parking around, you may just have to walk a block. But once we got there the staff was great and the wait reasonable. We wanted to try a couple different kinds and fortunately they already offer half and half pizzas with lots of combinations so the ones we wanted were already an standard option. I like Hawaiian and BBQ pizzas so those were what we went with. Nice thick deep dish crust which we really enjoyed. Ample toppings and delicious flavor on both for the win. We were not disappointed and would definitely return if in the neighborhood.

I was on NW 23rd and this spot was right by Salt & Straw and decided to give it a try a new pizza spot. The service was quick and fast. I ordered a slice of Harrissa because it was unique. I've never had pizza with butternut squash & leek on it. The pizza came out pretty tasting with lots of textures and flavors. A touch of sweetness and savory. I really enjoyed the crispy Detroit style and deep crust, the best part it wasn't soft or soggy on the bottom. The ranch was good as well! There were only a few sitting area inside! Definitely a must check out & try for a new pizza spot!

Detroit style pizza at its finest! Alright I highly recommend getting the Harissa. It sounds bit strange having butternut squash on a pizza, but you cannot pass this one up! Super flavorful, generous on the sauce. Perfect amount of veggies for the veggie pizza. Veggies are overwhelming! The crust is crispy and cooked just right. The dough is baked perfectly and doesn't have that doughy consistency. Their pizzas are not super greasy or oily so you won't be feeling like you've swallowed a bottle of oil. I wish they had more outdoor seating or more seating inside! That's just the downside of the spot, but this place seems more of a snatch and grab a slice.

April 9th, 2023 (1-3pm): Free pizza for the first 200 people to celebrate the grand opening of their second location on the corner of NW 23rd and Kearny. I am here in line, hoping I make the cut. Yes, it is raining, but no rain will stop us from getting 1/4 of the pie! Yess, jumbo size! We made it! Pepperoni or caprese, you ask? Pepperoni!! Each slice of the hot and steamy giveaway pizza was the size of my palm. The Detroit style of melty, cheesy deliciousness was about 1 inch thick on sourdough focaccia bread. Chewy, but got a crispy bite and a little burn-y edge. Bold flavor all around. I love the dollop of marinara sauce on top, surrounded by the mini pepperoni. They also have regular ranch or Sriracha ranch for you to dip or add on top. Cute place, a few spots for sit down, but good for to-go orders. They do have a small bench for people who are waiting for their take outs. They were well organized and were ready for the crowd. Although tickets were flying out of control, they were still able to keep calm and serve. Parking: One 15-minute parking spot right in front of Wild Child, otherwise all the other spots are reserved. Additional parking: free street parking Sundays, pay for parking with Parking Kitty on other days.
